Spring is in the air! Can you see it, feel it, smell it, or touch it?

You know that spring is just around the corner when you can smell it in the air and see transitioning beautifully outside and inside. This year, spring 2020, is much different than in years past due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of us around the world are currently shut-in and trying our best to keep our families and selves safe from becoming infected with the coronavirus.

So, how can we 'Spring into Action' this year?

If you are like me, keeping active is a must, and it's challenging to stay still or shut-in. There are many things I like to do when I know spring is just around the corner: spring cleaning throughout my house, yard and flowerbed work, packing away my winter clothes, and officially starting my vegetable garden. I find joy in springing into action for fresh, inspiring, and purpose-driven reasons. I find joy in helping our MOTIVATION readers to discover and spark new levels of self-motivation in their lives by sharing some knowledge or perspective on how we can make it through a tough time like the one we are experiencing now.

Yet, we still have it in us to 'Spring into Action' this year!

Many of the 'Spring into Action' things we would do inside and outside our home, we can still do and get done while staying safe and adhering to the COVID-19 pandemic precautionary guidelines. Several of my friends and family members I've talked to over the phone or online are cleaning their homes, doing yard work, doing laundry, and packing, giving or throwing away clothes.

There is more that we can do while keeping safe.

Here are a few additional ideas to help you to 'Spring into Action this year:
1) Cook and enjoy healthier meals.
2) Help and support your children with their from home school work.
3) Call and check on your extended family members, especially the elderly.
4) Declutter and paint a room or two inside your home.
5) Create a few household projects for the family to take on and complete together.
6) Exercise and workout at home.
7) Identify and read a few quality books to help you with your personal growth.
8) Create a family storytelling/open discussion time or game/movie/family fun night.
9) Reflect, write out, and update your personal goal.
10) Carefully look over, write out, and plan your current financial situation.
11) Discuss and create as a family a 'What's next?" plan for you and your family.

In the midst of it all, the COVID-19 pandemic, and you continuously springing into action, remember to think positive, keep yourself motivated, and to create and have fun at home. Save a life by staying home!

Embrace this concept — Sometimes, having fun with your family or just yourself at home or a friend or family member over the phone or online is all the therapy you need.

If you are a person who has to go out to work each day during the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone here at MOTIVATION magazine has you and your family in deep prayer. We 'Thank You' for being a courageous hero!
