Even during the pandemic, current civil unrest, and uncertainty, there are endless opportunities for creating inspired and productive days, as well as there are endless opportunities to dwell in misery or a sense of hopelessness. Which will you choose?

Here are five practical and uplifting ways to inspire your day for better outcomes and results.

1. Ask Uplifting questions to yourself
2. Take small steps towards your goals each day
3. Find or change your WHY and take the necessary actions to capture it
4. Gather up and listen to other positive people
5. Do not seek attention; pay it

1. Ask Uplifting questions to yourself

Start your day by asking questions – Who am I? Where do I have to be? What important tasks do I have to finish by the end of the day? What three skills are essential for me to practice today? What will make and keep me happy today? If you start your day off by asking and answering questions, it will become easier for you to experience days filled with desired inspiration and productivity.

2. Take small steps towards your goals each day

Your goal might be huge to achieve, or you may have more than one. So, divide your goals into smaller achievable parts. Take small productive steps towards your aim; a single small effort can make a big difference. Take out a sheet of paper with a pen, write down and list your goals for the week, and work with focus to accomplish them one by one. If you do not complete a goal within the week, curry it over into the next week until you achieve and check it off your list.

3. Find or change your WHY and take the necessary actions to capture it

Sometimes, when stressed out or filled with anxiety, we tend to embrace frustration/doubt over inspiration. If you find yourself at this point on any given day, promptly go to or change your WHY. Your WHY is the significant or meaningful goal or purpose you have guiding your life. This intentional effort should re-connect you to the understanding of what’s important for you. If in doubt or fear, change your WHY into fearless confidence. Then take the necessary steps of action to get inspired and productive again.

4. Gather up and listen to other positive people

It is to say that positive people have constructive advice and influence for you that can inspire and change your day for the better. They are often uplifting and willing to help you to learn and grow. Whenever you get a chance to connect with a positive person in your network or family, always listen to their advice and try to learn something new that will enrich your day. A small seed of positive advice can be the boost of inspiration you needed to move you beyond a short-lived state of doubt, misery, or hopelessness.

5. Do not seek attention; pay it

Have you ever noticed that people always visit those who pay focused attention? They move slowly in going to see those who seek attention. Be the one who pays attention and listens to others' problems, ideas, and discussions with care. Make it your success habit to stay quiet when someone is having a heartfelt conversation with you about the troubles or a stressful situation. Appreciate others for who they are and refrain from judgment even if you feel their route of thinking wrong. Listen with your complete attention and give your suggestions with support and care. Your pay it forward tank of inspiration and positive outcomes and results in life increase daily each time you attentively and genuinely help others.
