Life can be a happy bliss, and this bliss is within everyone's reach, but like treasures that hide deep beneath the surface, this bliss can seem challenging to discover. I am here to tell you happy bliss can be found and dug up through positive affirmations.
You do not only think about it; you need to believe it, act on it, and live it. It takes deliberate and conscious efforts to bring about the happy bliss you seek amidst everyday problems.
Furthermore, it is not smart to believe that life flows on the ocean of effortlessness and comfort. The desire to relish peace and happy living amidst the challenges of life entails constant efforts at self-observation and replacing pessimism with positive thinking. Despite the storms, a sailor hopes to arrive unscathed. These are 10 affirmations that can make the difference for you when practiced and mastered daily.
1. Do daily self-introspection
Check your thought-line and actions every day. Keep a record of your strengths and weaknesses; make a conscious effort at weeding out your weaknesses and strengthening your strengths. Quiet introspection can be very valuable to your self-care and positive energy flow.
2. Live like a lotus flower
When storms hit the sea, the lotus is not spared. But lotus springs up and exudes its beauty the moment the storm subsides. When life lashes at you, remember how the lotus stays afloat and shines its beauty after the storm.
3. Avoid self-pity
Self-pity creeps into your life and takes control of your being. To get rid of it, you have to stay on high alert by paying close attention to how you think. Whenever self-pity pops into your thinking, stop the toxic thought immediately. Else it will activate a chain reaction, and you may not realize that you are swimming and drowning in self-pity. Pity parties aren't your thing, but self-appreciation is your thing.
4. Others have passed drearier storms
While you may think your case is worse, know that others have passed through drearier storms in life. Such knowledge should bring you hope and light of recovery. Remember, this too shall pass.
5. See the shores from troubled waters
It would help if you saw a blissful shore from your troubled sail like a sailor sailing in the storms. Relish the picture of peace from your aches. Calm and still water bring you positive flow and renewed living.
6. Willfully detach from issues that weigh and beat you down
There are scenes, people, and experiences that bring you sad moments and memories. Yes, it can hurt and be exhausting, too. Forgive them, forgive yourself, lift your spirit high again, and forge ahead.
7. Success is a by-product of consistent effort
Do not worry, keep believing, keep introspecting, and keep acting. Patience is a great virtue. Someday along the way, your efforts will pay off, allowing you to take charge and smile again in your happy place.
8. Be the master and not the slave of your mind
Victory over the mind is a victory over every challenge. The mind is where negative thoughts, stress, and anxiety go to incubate. Weed them out and let your mind glow and grow through positive thoughts.
9. Shed off those vices
I had some vices sinking my health. To stay healthier, I am now shedding off those poor habits and pounds. I call it shedding off old skins. My health has improved dramatically. Join me, let's shed off those vices so we can fully live again.
10. Remain confident and resilient
Having confidence in your strengths and gifts offers you the courage you need to stay resilient and seize every opportunity that comes your way. So, remain confident and resilient against all odds!
The above 10 affirmations and many others like them can change your everyday problems into renewed living. Affirmations go beyond repeating words. The process may sound and feel silly, especially if you're starting to use statements to empower your life. Promise yourself that you will stick to, repeat, and live out these 10 affirmations for 120 consecutive days. Four months from now, you will discover and open the happy bliss, the treasure within yourself, as I have. I am a sold and true believer that affirmations can improve your life drastically by freeing you from self-doubt, negativity, and unproductive living.
